The Blues are reportedly keen on luring the Frenchman to the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester United and Manchester City fans have reacted to rumors that the Blues are interested in signing Paul Pogba in the summer.
Pogba's contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season, and he is largely anticipated to leave on a free transfer for the second time this summer. Various sources, initially published in the Daily Mail, claim that the Premier League winners are 'exploring' the potential of a surprise transfer coup like to Carlos Tevez's move across town in 2009.
Due to transfer laws, City would not be able to make a formal offer to Pogba until the conclusion of the season, but he is understood to be on Pep Guardiola's list of choices. According to the Mail, the 29-year-old has not ruled out a move to the Etihad and would examine an offer.
According to The Athletic, Guardiola and City were said to have turned down the chance to sign Pogba in March, when it became evident that the midfielder would be departing the Theatre of Dreams. With Fernandinho having announced his decision to quit the club, City are in desperate need of a central midfielder, which Pogba could fill.
Here are reactions from fans on both sides of the divide to rumours that Pogba could be heading to City.
