Brazil's Richarlison and Vinicius Jr. had to be separated during a heated training ground exchange.
As Brazil prepared for a friendly against Japan on Monday, the two almost got into a brawl on Saturday.
The cause of the brawl is unknown, however the Everton player grabbed Vinicius by his training shirt as a result of the incident.
Selecao captain Neymar and Newcastle target Lucas Paqueta quickly interfered to separate the two.
But, as Neymar placed his hands around Richarlison's neck, he seemed to irritate him even more.
The competitors were eventually separated and led away from each other.
Richarlison has been embroiled in a number of issues this season, including a public spat with Sky Sports co-commentator and pundit Jamie Carragher following Everton's successful Premier League survival bid last month.
"Wash your mouth before you remark about me and Everton, and I don't respect you," the 25-year-old tweeted.
Carragher stated the Brazilian goes to the ground far too early after a series of clashes in the recent Merseyside derby.
Vinicius' otherwise flawless week, which included scoring the game-winning goal in the Champions League final, will have been marred by the training-ground altercation.
In Paris, the 21-year-old slipped in at the back post to score the game's lone goal, giving Real their 14th title.
He joined Real Madrid for a record £38 million from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018 and, after a rough start, found his feet, culminating in last week's Champions League final heroics.
Brazil will face Japan in Tokyo on Monday, hoping to build on their 5-1 victory over South Korea on Thursday.
