Arsenal Interested in signing Manchester United star Jesse Lingard.
Jesse Lingard urged West Ham to maintain their composure in the Champions League chase.
On Monday, the forward inspired the Hammers to a 3-2 victory over Wolves, lifting them to fourth place in the Premier League.
Lingard, who has six goals in eight club games, scored a wonderful solo goal and assisted on goals by Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen in the first half.
West Ham is four points behind third-placed Leicester, whom they host on Sunday, and Lingard is aware that they must maintain their composure.
The on-loan Manchester United star told the club's official website, "We need to maintain our concentration in each game." “We have a difficult run of fixtures ahead of us, but the lads are ready, and we'll get ready for the next one.
“It's never too late to change. It's a fantastic win, but there are lessons to be learned from this game, both positive and negative.
'It was a difficult game, and we had to put in a lot of effort to get the three points. We kept going – it could have been another Arsenal scenario (drawing 3-3 after winning 3-0) with a goal conceded before half-time – but the lads maintained their attention and concentration for the entire 90 minutes.'
'It was just a lack of focus at the end of the first half, but we played a little bit better in the second half. They controlled the majority of the action, but it was up to us to keep the game under control.'
Wolves' Leander Dendoncker equalized a minute before halftime, while Fabio Silva's goal rendered it a tense final 22 minutes for the Hammers.
Wolves have now won only three of their last seventeen Premier League games.
Nuno Espirito Santo's team is 14th in the standings after suffering their third loss in four days, leaving them nine points above the bottom three with eight games remaining.
Silva told the club's official website, "The motivation is that we have eight games remaining and the squad has good things to do."
'There are a lot of games for points and to improve, and I believe the team needs to get up, take the spirit and character of this game, and improve for the next match,' says the coach.
'It's too tough to win a game when you're down 3-0; you have to have some luck, but now the team has to focus on the next game, which is the most important.'
